We Love Trees

Have you ever heard of a little something called ‘Forest Bathing’? Neither had we! But turns out, we’ve been doing it our whole lives.

Have you ever gone for a stroll through a forest, taken in your surroundings, while listening to the songs of the trees, careful not to disturb the homes of the creatures scuttling through the brush nearby?

Well, that right there my friends, is Forest Bathing.

In the 1980s, Japan developed the healing therapy Shinrin-yoku, also known as Forest Healing. To this day people will do guided walks through nature, or under the forest’s canopy to heal their mind, body and soul.

Us at Muddy Stories, love being in nature, especially Canada’s beautiful forest trails. These picturesque walks are one of the things that inspired our story in ‘What Spring Will Bring.’

Our love for our woodlands is just one of the many reasons we have a deep connection with the trees and nature. That being said, for every fifteen books purchased we will be donating to Tree Canada.
